Where it is and how to reach it
The workshop is held at Bağımsız Sanat Vakfı, Hobyar, Ankara Cd. No:3, 34110 Fatih/İstanbul, on Istanbul's historic peninsula. It is within easy reach of the old city and the main tram line, and most guests walk in within minutes of the main sights.
Who it is for
The workshop is built for everyone. Beginners, couples, families, and solo travellers all work at the same table and all leave with a lamp. Children are welcome and love it. If you can press a piece of glass into place, you can make this lamp.
What to bring
Bring only yourself. Every tool and material is provided, along with coffee, tea, water, and cookies. Wear whatever is comfortable. There is nothing to buy on the day and nothing to prepare in advance.
Booking and cancellation
You reserve online in under a minute and pay at the studio, so nothing is charged up front. You can cancel free up to 24 hours before your session. Seats per session are limited, so popular dates fill early and it is worth booking ahead.
